Angela Casado-Diaz, MD, Joins Blackstone Valley Family Physicians

Milford Regional Physician Group (MRPG) is proud to welcome Angela Casado-Diaz, MD. She joins Chantal Dewey, MD; Cailin McDeed, DO; Erika Pommett, DO; Liz Siraco, MD; Meghan Brigham, NP; Patrick Hazard, PA-C; and Melissa Oikle,
PA-C, at Blackstone Valley Family Physicians, 100 Commerce Drive, Northbridge.

A native New Englander, Dr. Casado-Diaz comes to MRPG from Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, where she worked as a family medicine physician. She looks forward to returning home to take care of patients in her community. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Casado-Diaz earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at UMass Fitchburg.

Prior to entering medical school, she worked as an undergraduate research fellow at Boston University.  While in her role at BU, Dr. Casado-Diaz was involved in the Vietnam Era Twin Study of Aging, exploring the association between pain and overall well-being, physical functioning, combat exposure, and lifetime symptoms of depression. She also completed a research internship at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, where she received an award for Most Likely to Give Culturally Competent Care.

Milford Regional Physician Group, Inc. was established in 1992 and is one of the largest physician practice groups in the MetroWest and Blackstone Valley Region. A corporate affiliate of UMass Memorial Health, MRPG consists of 43 primary care and specialty practices, all located in community settings throughout Bellingham, Franklin, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Medway, Mendon, and Milford.
